Corona virus: Current regulations for library use

  • Please visit the library only in extremely important cases and use our online and contactless services (mailing, e-mail, telephone) instead.
  • When visiting the library, masks are compulsory. The maximum possible number of simultaneous visitors is limited to 5 persons. (Please be prepared for waiting times.) We kindly ask you to observe the required rules of distance and hygiene.
  • Access to the print stock (contactless service): Articles from print journals or sections from specialist print books in our stock can be copied and sent to you by e-mail, taking into account the copyright. It is also possible to have books from our stock sent to you free of charge by mail. You will have to bear the costs for a return mailing of the media.
  • Interlibrary loan (contactless service): The interlibrary loan service is again available to a limited extent. You can order the desired media and copies of articles as usual via the DigiBib. As some libraries are currently not yet accessible, the proportion of orders that cannot be fulfilled will be higher than usual. Longer delivery times must also be expected.
  • Opening hours: The library is currently open to a limited extent as follows:

Mon - Thu: 9.00 am to 3.00 pm
Fri: 9.00 am to 12.00 am

The library can currently only be used to a limited extent as a place to learn and work. There are three terminal workstations available. The following areas remain inaccessible: reading area, group work rooms, copy room, toilets (except wash basins).
