The Teestube is a common room in the KG for all students, which is supervised by volunteers. There you can make yourself comfortable on the sofa, play board games and Wii, exchange ideas with other students or even study. You can also make yourself coffee or tea for a donation. There are also various events that take place regularly.
During the lecture period, the tea room is usually open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays, depending on the staffing.
Students who would like to grow their own fruit and vegetables can plant a bed in our campus garden. We will also provide gardening tools. If you are interested in planting your own bed, just send us an email.
At the Umwelt-Campus the environment is of course very important to us. Thus, in addition to the gardens managed by the AStA, there are also the DreckWegTage, which take place once a semester. We also protect the toads during their mating season with a toad fence set up by the students. If you have ideas to continue making the campus more sustainable feel free to contact us directly.
The AStA offers several possibilities to do sports on campus. There is a small fitness room in the communication building, which can be used by all students. Volunteer courses are offered regularly in the gymnasium. There is also the possibility to offer a course yourself. In the tea room you can borrow sports equipment such as basketball, tennis rackets, etc. for a deposit. There is also a billiard room in the KG. The key for this room can be borrowed from Contact for a deposit.
The band room is opened taking into account the following conditions:
1. Hand disinfectants are provided which people must use to disinfect their hands upon entry. It is also possible to clean the surfaces of the instruments and devices with the cloths and cleaning agents provided; this should also be used at the latest when leaving.
2. During the stay there should be regular ventilation. Since the key is given out on request, it is easy to control how many people use the room. In order to better coordinate with each other, however, it would make sense to enter the desired usage dates in the online calendar provided (shorturl.at/puJU7).
3. If there is more than one person, the data is recorded using the Intake app. The maximum number of people is 4, they must take their places in such a way that the distance is not less than 1.5 m
4. Transponders for the band rooms can be borrowed for one semester on request for a deposit of 50 €.
