How does the digital transformation of our society succeed? What impact does the Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence have on the economy and the environment? How does MINT training keep pace with the demands of the modern working world? How can digitization contribute to limiting climate change and theCOVID-19 pandemic? These questions are of paramount importance for the development and education of societyand will have a decisive impact on the future of Germany as a business location. We have overslept the people's Internet in the past decades (Europe's share: a measly 3%), now comes the Internet of Things and not only strikes the economic nerve of our republic (we produce things), it will fundamentally change our society.
With the IoT2 workshop, the Umwelt-Campus, together with the IoT expert group of the national Digital Summit, has developed an innovative concept that makes these topics literally understandable for everyone. IoT is fun, brings added value and promotes the individual MINT skills. A quick start can be found under "Join in".
Building on this, the research project COSY (BMBF) offers exciting experiments, videos and worksheets on machine learning. With the IoT-Pilot (BEL), small and medium-sized businesses will find the IoT2-Pilotyzer, a programming environment for rapid prototyping and rapid implementation of new business ideas.
