Resolutions with corona special regulations for examinations in the winter semester 2022/2023
The current Corona special regulations for examinations will continue to be valid in the winter semester 2022/2023.
In the Departments Environmental Planning/Environmental Technology and Environmental Business/Environmental Law, it was unanimously decided to extend the regulations in effect until the end of the winter semester 2022/2023.
Students are exempted from taking examinations in the winter semester 2022/2023, i.e. compulsory examinations do not have to be taken and therefore do not count towards the number of three examination attempts possible according to the examination regulations.
Examinations that have been taken will be counted. This does not affect the regulations on withdrawal contained in the examination regulations.
The voluntary nature of examinations applies to all examinations, irrespective of the type of examination, with the exception of final theses. These are to be registered in accordance with the applicable deadlines; if necessary, for valid reasons, the processing time can be extended upon individual application by the chairperson of the UPUT examination committee after consultation with the examiners of the thesis.
For organizational reasons, the registration/deregistration deadlines for examinations specified in the examination regulations remain unchanged.
Department of Environmental Business/Environmental Law:
Students are exempted from taking examinations that take place during the winter semester 2022/2023, which means that even compulsory attempts do not have to be taken and therefore do not count towards the number of 3 examination attempts possible according to the examination regulations.
Examinations that have been taken will be counted. This does not affect the regulations on withdrawal laid down in the examination regulations.
Written papers, such as seminar papers, student research projects or final theses, which do not take the place of written examinations, are exempt from this regulation. However, upon justified request, an extension of the deadline shall be generously considered by the respective lecturer and, in the case of final examinations, by the responsible examination boards.
The registration and deregistration deadlines for examinations specified in the examination regulations continue to apply.
The Examinations Office asks you to observe these regulations.
