Important for examinations:
Please remember to wear a mouth-nose cover on the way to and from the exams and support us in our efforts to reduce the spread of the virus. If you have a cold or suspect that you may have corona disease, please stay home and withdraw from the exam. You have already been informed by the university management that you are free to take part in examinations in the summer semester 2020 and that compulsory examinations, in which you should actually take part this semester, can be postponed and thus be preserved. For further questions, please contact the examination office.

Please bear in mind that in the event of a corona case, the university would have to close down again in the affected areas and examinations might have to be cancelled. It is also the responsibility of each individual to avoid this and thus enable us to hold as many examinations as possible during the summer semester, even if this is associated with restrictions for the individual (wearing of mouth-nose covers, acceptance of distance regulations and detours due to one-way street regulations when entering and leaving rooms, admission controls when entering, withdrawal from an examination due to illness in order to protect students and staff).

Please:
Please bear in mind that the University of Applied Sciences Trier will do its best to organise the summer semester 2020 as smoothly as possible for you even in the current difficult situation. This involves a great deal of effort and we too are learning something new every day. We also receive new and very short-term information every day, to which we have to react again.
Especially for the organisation of exams, the splitting into small groups to maintain the distance regulations means that much more personnel and more rooms than usual are required. However, it must also be ensured for our employees that we do not expose any risk groups to unreasonable risk. The responsible committees must be involved in all planning and decisions on procedures, safety concepts, etc., and this takes time. Above all, since no specifications or empirical values can be built on.
Therefore, I would like to ask you to be patient and support us in our efforts by adhering to the regulations we have laid down.
