Privacy statement for the "Symposium on innovation and automation in remanufacturing " event at the Trier University of Applied Sciences

1. Description and scope of data processing

In order to process your registration, we collect, process and store the following of your data:

Name, first name, e-mail address, company, Title.

After your registration we collect the data in the content management system of our website and export the data from the website to our local database for further processing.

2. Legal basis for data processing

The legal basis for the processing of data by the user after registration for the Symposium on innovation and automation in remanufacturing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO if consent has been given.

3. Purpose of data processing

We use your data to organize the event; among other things:

  • we print some of the data (name, first name, company, e-mail address, title) in participant lists
  • we may use your contact details (surname, first name, e-mail address, title) to send you event-related materials (e.g. programme)
  • we may pass on your data (e.g. number of accompanying persons) to internal or external organisational units if this is necessary to provide the service.

In addition, we use some of the data (name, first name, company, e-mail address, title) to send information (event information, invitations to other events at the university).

4. Right to information

You have the right to request information about the data stored about you or your pseudonym. This information can also be provided electronically on request.

5. Duration of storage

The data will be deleted as soon as their storage is no longer necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected or 6 months after the event.

6. Possibility of objection and removal

You have the right to demand the correction, deletion, transfer or blocking of the personal data stored about you. If a deletion should be legally inadmissible, your data will only be blocked.

You have the right to object to the processing of your stored personal data or to demand the restriction of processing. You send an e-mail from the stored e-mail address to f.schaefer@umwelt-campus.de.

7. By entering your data and clicking the send button, you confirm your consent to the storage of data in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO.
