Learning outcomes

The students have understood and deepened the central contents of renewable energy systems. They are able to define and interpret current issues in energy technology. The students can apply their knowledge to known and unknown problems and develop solutions. They have a broad, detailed and critical understanding of the latest developments in renewable energy technology and energy use. In particular, the students' competences include the planning of PV, wind energy and biogas plants, the calculation and modelling of the energy consumption of buildings as well as the economic analysis of projects. Furthermore, the students can analyse operating data of renewable energy systems and develop key indicators for optimisation.
