Environmental Economics and Business Management
Standard Duration: 4 semesters
Degree: Master of Arts (M.A.)
Additional Information: Graduates of this programme are qualified for positions in higher service and doctoral programs in Germany and abroad
The Master's programme is based on a modular structure. In the first two semesters subject cycles include:
- Material Flow Management
- Production- and Environmental Management
- Sustainable Corporate Management
- Operations Management and Logistics
- Tax and Finance
- Applied Marcoeconomics
Students have to enrol in at least five out of the eight modules. Modules in the third semester include electives and project work and can be chosen individually by the students. Alternatively, students can also opt to participate in an exchange semester at a university abroad. This ensures flexible studies depending on future career plans.
The fourth semester is reserved for the Master's thesis. With the final dissertation students demonstrate their ability to independently resolve a subject-related problem by applying scientific research methods within a given time frame. Students generally complete their thesis within six months.
