Commencent of studies until summer semester 2011

The degree programme consists of different modules, which are interlinked. Fundamental knowledge and skills in IT, as well as applied sciences are the foci of the curriculum.

Exchange semester are encouraged. Students who decide to study at a university abroad, generally do so during the fifth semester. the prerequisite for this is an equivalent curiculum at the partner university.

The sixth semester is reserved for a practical project and the Bachelor's thesis. The period of practical lasts twelve weeks. The aim of the final dissertation is to demonstrate that the student is capable of working independently through a subject-related topic by applying scientific methods within a nine-week time frame.

Commencement of studies from winter semester 2011/12 on

During the fifth semester, students can chose between a practical semester in a company or study abroad.

The second half of the seventh semester remains reserved for the Bachelor thesis.
