The vocational training course is designed in compliance with the Vocational Training Act and the corresponding curriculum.
In the second year, students enroll at the Environmental Campus Birkenfeld where the practical training is supplemented by academic courses.
In the third year, a strong focus will be placed on university modules. During lecture-free periods students work at their training company. During this year, students also take the final exam of their vocational training course at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK).
At the end of the fourth year, graduates will be awarded the academic degree Bachelor of Engineering.
