Applied Computer Science

The degree course Applied Computer Science at the Environment Campus Birkenfeld focuses predominantly on Software Engineering and programming. Other foci include the principles of software ergonomics, foundations of operating systems and databanks, as well as efficient algorithms. Aside from an education in core Computer Science, elective modules offer environmental and economic insights. Supervised projects, internships and courses in communication and foreign languages supplement the curriculum.
