The Institute for Operations and Technology Management offers three bachelor's and one master's program. These include the Bachelor's programs in Mechanical Engineering - Product Development and Technical Planning (B. Eng.) and Renewable Energies (B. Sc.), the dual Bachelor's program in Production Technology (B. Eng.), and the Master's program in Digital Product Development (M. Eng.).

Practical training plays a central role in the Bachelor's and Master's programs at the Environmental Campus. For this reason, project work is planned for all courses of study, which students are to work on independently in an interdisciplinary group. In the Institute of Operations and Technology Management, there are ongoing project work (specialist project or interdisciplinary project), internships, and theses on current topics in energy system technology and production technology. Also, students can make inquiries about projects and final theses via the professors at IBT.
