Corona virus: Current regulations for library use

  • When visiting the library, masks are compulsory. The maximum possible number of simultaneous visitors is limited to 15 persons. We kindly ask you to observe the required rules of distance and hygiene.
  • We are obliged to document your contact details when you visit the library. For this purpose the digital web application Intake is used.
  • Opening hours:
    Mon - Thu: 9.00 am to 3.00 pm
    Fri: 9.00 am to 12.00 am
  • The use as a learning location is possible again. There are nine terminal workstations, ten reading places and two workrooms available. The workrooms can only be used by single persons (online reservation required).
  • Contactless service (print stock): Articles from print journals or parts from specialist print books in our stock can be copied and sent to you, taking into account the copyright. In exceptional cases it is also possible to have books from our stock sent to you free of charge by mail. You will have to bear the costs for a return mailing of the media.

You can call up your library account via the upper menu bar in the online catalogue ("Anmeldung"/"Log In").

To login you need your:

  • library ID (= matriculation number / ID on your service or library card)
  • library PIN (in case of loss: just come to the information desk and ask for a new one!)
