Important:

At Trier University of Applied Sciences, the following applies: Generative AI is generally permitted as an aid in all forms of examination, provided that the examiner does not stipulate otherwise. The exact scope of permitted use must be determined and communicated by the examiner no later than when the task is issued.

In the case of unsupervised written examinations (e.g. seminar papers), a declaration regarding the use or non-use of AI-supported aids must be included in the declaration of originality. If AI has been used, the declaration must contain at least the following points:

• Confirmation of compliance with the applicable AI regulations
• Acceptance of responsibility for the content and accuracy of AI-generated statements
• Declaration of complete and truthful attribution of AI-generated statements.
