Study entry phase

At the beginning of this term we offer you a warm welcome and preparatory events to help you find your way into your new life, learning and working as a university student.

For all international students:

Check out the "Welcome - Starting your studies at UCB"- online course. It will give you a quick and easy overview over all things connected with the start of your first term at UCB. You can use it as a wiki or work through it collecting points and comparing your results with your peers. You can access the course as a guest user (use button "guest") or you can choose to enter your student user ID (use "student ID" button).

Preparatory courses

You want to be well prepared in those basic subjects and catch up on some missing links before lectures begin?

We offer preparatory courses in the following subjects:

Maths
Physics
Accounting
English

These preparatory courses will bring you up to scratch on indispensable basic knowledge you will need in order to have a successful start into your academic life. You can find further information on the individual modules by clicking here.

Welcome week “Flying Days”

The Flying Days offer a number of informational and organisational events at the environmental campus Birkenfeld just before lectures begin. Additionally you get the chance to meet your fellow students during a number of fun activities including sports, cultural and design workshops.

Participation in the Flying Days is mandatory for all bachelor students.

The Flying for the coming winter semester will be held from th 4th of October to the 6th of October. For more information on this event, please click here.
