Flying Days

The introductory week for first-year students at the Environmental Campus Birkenfeld, the so-called "Flying Days" consist, in addition to the welcome ceremony, of various orientation sessions and information events

• an introduction to learning and working as a university student ("Studying-But the right way!"),
• a tour of the campus, an introduction to the university library and
• an introduction to the most important offices and contact persons on campus.

The focus of the week is on participation in workshops where you can get to know your fellow students. The finale of Flying Days is the traditional annual tree planting and final barbecue.

No prior registration is required to attend the event!

Please note that the event is mandatory for undergraduate students!

Students of Master courses are welcome to attend.
