Stac-hack - Hackathon against Corona over Easter

In cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences Kaiserslautern and the IBT of the Environmental Campus, the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences is organizing a hackathon over the Easter holidays under the motto "Students against Corona - STac". Students can take part in the hackathon on Good Friday and Holy Saturday with their own project topic or an already defined topic suggestion.

At the STac-hackathon, students can create creative concepts and develop innovative ideas for redesigning the current situation. The focus is on regional and socially relevant topics in dealing with Covid19. Students can participate with their own project idea or work together in a team on one of the numerous topics. The project ideas are summarized under the following link: https://tinyurl.com/rvl2omv

On the part of the Umwelt-Campus, Prof. Wahl and Prof. te Heesen accompany the hackathon as experts in the field of generative manufacturing of face masks and are available to assist the students with words and deeds. The president of the university, Prof. Dorit Schumann, has taken over the patronage of the hackathon for the Trier University of Applied Sciences.

As prize money 500 EUR will be given to the group with the best project idea, the second placed group will receive 250 EUR and the third group will receive a certificate of recognition. The evaluation criteria are the degree of innovation, the feasibility and scalability of the project, the progress, the comprehensibility and the scientific depth.

On Thursday, 09.04., the online kick-off meeting via Zoom will take place at 18:30. Further information, all important dates and the registration form can be found on the website of the hackathon STac-hack: https://www.hs-augsburg.de/Architektur-und-Bauwesen/stac-hack.html
