Glacier retreat in the Alpine region

A documentation of the spatiotemproal dynamics of the Laaser Ferner from 1986 to 2026 was created by overlaying the glacier's extent at various points in time (derived from the analysis of remote sensing data) across the years. Through direct visual comparison with an appropriate color-coding scheme, the pressure is made clearly visible.
