Closing Time of Examination office and the departmental secretariats on Christmas and New Year

Important information from the Examinations Office and the two departmental secretariats of the Departments of Environmental Planning/Environmental Technology and Environmental Business/Environmental Law

With the request for attention!

From Monday, 22.12.2025 to Friday, 02.01.2026, both the Examinations Office and the two departmental secretariats for Environmental Planning/Environmental Technology and Environmental Business/Environmental Law will be closed and unstaffed.

Inquiries received during this period will be processed from Monday, 05.01.2026. The staff will be available again from this day on.

Submission of final theses:
Submission deadlines for theses that would have to be submitted in this period according to the regular deadline will be postponed to 5 January 2026, on which day these theses must then be submitted. An early appointment with the departmental secretariats is required for submission; an appointment should be made by 17 December 2025 at the latest. Early submissions are possible until 19 December 2025, for which an appointment is also required.
Please also remember to upload the digital version of your work via an upload link in Seafile via this link: https://www.umwelt-campus.de/studium/informationen-service/pruefungsamt/abgabe-abschlussarbeiten .

Registration for the final theses:
Students who are obliged to register for the final thesis in order to meet the registration deadline during the closing time are requested to contact the examination office as soon as possible.
Registration of the final thesis needs to be carried out no later than Tuesday, 18 December 2025.
Please note the date on which the last examination was posted to know the end of your deadline, you can also ask the examination office about the date. Please contact the examination office for an appointment, especially if you want to come the examination office outside the official opening hours.

Our advice:
Please clarify any formalities, questions or appointments until Tuesday, 16 December 2025 at the latest, then you will have two more days to sort something out if there are any unresolved details.
