At the beginning of your employment, a user ID consisting of login name + password for the use of the IT infrastructure at Trier University is available for collection at the computer center.
You will receive this at the ServicePoint upon presentation of an official photo ID.
As of June 2020, all login names have a new format. Your new login name (once assigned) will remain identical for your entire time at Trier University and is unique there. It will not change even if you change your location, employment or studies. The new format consists of 4 letters followed by 4 random numbers.
