Aims & Scope
The Journal of International and Digital Communication (JIDC) promotes interdisciplinary research and scholarly exchange at the intersection of digital and international communication. Communication is understood here in its broadest sense, as the basis for understanding, collaboration, and social change across disciplinary, cultural, and sectoral boundaries.
At its core are themes that consistently call for interdisciplinary perspectives: sustainability, civil society, conflict resolution, and ethical and legal questions. Through close collaboration with a range of academic disciplines and cultures, the journal aims to communicate relevant insights, bridge disciplinary boundaries, and develop practical solutions to current societal challenges. The journal's aim is also to provide students with a platform to publish their scholarly work and to contribute actively to the academic community and to applied research.
