Die European Environment Agency (EEA) ist eine Einrichtung der EU und stellt zuverlässige und unabhängige Informationen über die Umwelt zur Verfügung.

Eurostat

Eurostat ist das statistische Amt der Europäischen Union. Es hat den Auftrag, die Union mit europäischen Statistiken zu versorgen, die Vergleiche zwischen Ländern und Regionen ermöglichen. 

Joint Research Center (JRC)

The European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC) is a department  of the European Commission providing independent scientific and technological support for EU policy-making. 

Europäische Chemikalienagentur (ECHA)

ECHA is the driving force among regulatory authorities in implementing the EU's groundbreaking chemicals legislation for the benefit of human health and the environment as well as for innovation and competitiveness. ECHA helps companies to comply with the legislation, advances the safe use of chemicals, provides information on chemicals and addresses chemicals of concern.

European GNSS Agency (GSA) / EU Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA)

Die European GNSS Agency ist eine Agentur der EU. Sie unterstützt die Europäische Kommission bei Aufgaben zur satellitengestüzten Navigation (GNSS). Sie führt außerdem die europäischen Satellitennavigationsprogramme durch und überwacht die Projekte GALILEO und EGNOS.

EuroGeographics’ activities focus on underpinning the European Spatial Data Infrastructure with the definitive reference data collected, maintained and provided by their members.

Internationale Kommission zum Schutz des Rheins (IKSR)

Zum Wohl des Rheins und aller ihm zufließenden Gewässer kooperieren die Mitglieder der Internationalen Kommission zum Schutz des Rheins (IKSR) – Schweiz, Frankreich, Deutschland, Luxemburg, die Niederlande und die Europäische Kommission – erfolgreich mit Österreich, Liechtenstein und der belgischen Region Wallonien sowie Italien. Neun Staaten bzw. Regionen im Einzugsgebiet des Rheins arbeiten eng zusammen, um die vielfältigen Nutzungs- und Schutzinteressen im Rheingebiet auszugleichen. Die Schwerpunkte der Arbeit sind die nachhaltige Entwicklung des Rheins, seiner Auen und der gute Zustand aller Gewässer im Einzugsgebiet.

Inspire Geoportal

Das INSPIRE Geoportal ist der zentrale europäische Zugangspunkt zu den Daten, die von den EU-Mitgliedstaaten und mehreren EFTA-Ländern im Rahmen der INSPIRE-Richtlinie bereitgestellt werden. Das Geoportal ermöglicht die Überwachung der Verfügbarkeit von INSPIRE-Datensätzen, das Auffinden geeigneter Datensätze auf der Grundlage ihrer Beschreibungen (Metadaten) und den Zugriff auf die ausgewählten Datensätze über ihre Ansichts- oder Download-Dienste. Die im Geoportal verwendeten Metadaten werden regelmäßig von den Suchdiensten der EU-Mitgliedstaaten und EFTA-Länder gesammelt und aktualisiert.

European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA)

EUSPA is the only European Union agency dedicated to space. Their mission is to serve as the essential link between space technology and user needs, translating the European Union’s investment in space into valuable, reliable services for European citizens.

EUSPA is responsible for operational management of the EGNOS and Galileo satellite navigation programmes and for ensuring the continuous provision of their services. This involves the management, operation, maintenance, continuous improvement, evolution and protection of the systems’ infrastructure, including upgrades and obsolescence management.

data.europa.eu is the official portal for data on Europe and has over 1.5 million data sets for 36 countries.

The purpose of the website is to distribute the created transnational thematic maps of the Greater Region and to direct the user to the Geoportal of the Greater Region.

The WUIS data catalog contains the data collections of the City of Vienna on the subject of the environment.
