During your studies, events may occur that can feel like a blow to those affected and lead to grief.
Grief is a personal experience and affects people in different ways, with a wide variety of effects and consequences.
Trier University of Applied Sciences does not leave its students to cope alone at such times and is able to offer support and assistance.
This link takes you to a dedicated page where those affected can find, amongst other things, contact details, information on who is responsible for what, and a link to a detailed guide.

Affected students are very welcome to contact the staff at the Student Services / Examinations Office responsible for the campus where they are studying; they can provide advice, particularly regarding options under examination regulations, such as exemptions from examinations, applications to examination boards, etc. Discretion is, of course, guaranteed.
