Printing and copying system

1. My copy card is not issued!

Here, the first rule is "Be patient!". If you do not perform any action on the respective device for about one minute (about two minutes for the printers), the copy card is automatically output again. You can also have it ejected again by pressing the arrow key or the "E" key.

If the card reader does not feed in the card properly, it will be ejected automatically after 30 seconds.
Damage to the copy card (e.g. a slightly bent card) may also prevent the card from being ejected. Therefore, please avoid using such a card.

2. The printer reports that there is no more paper!

The paper supply of the printing and copying devices is replenished regularly. Therefore, first make sure that the paper tray selection is set to automatic. The printer will then automatically select the correct tray. Also make sure that you have set the size in your program to either DIN-A4 or DIN-A3 (other formats and sizes are not supported).

If the message appears although you have taken the above points into account, please contact a member of staff in the computer center (building 9917 / upper floor).

3. The printer reports a paper jam!

Please contact a member of staff in the computer center (building 9917 / upper floor).

4. The printout was faulty or the printing costs were charged incorrectly!

Please contact a member of staff in the computer center (building 9917 / upper floor), preferably Mr. Mike Decker (office: 9917/113, phone: 1122).

5. The card is pulled in and out permanently and the output terminal does not react anymore!

Please contact a member of staff in the computer center (building 9917 / upper floor).

6. Can I use the printing system with macOS, Android or iOS?

Unfortunately, only the use with Microsoft Windows is possible at the moment.

 

7. Where can I return my copy card?

You can return your copy card to the Computer Center ServicePoint (Building 9917 Room 112).
