Corporate Relations

Close cooperation with business and local authorities is one of the focal points of the Institute for Operations and Technology Management. You have the following possibilities to make use of our services:

R&D project: Implementation of a joint third-party funded project in the form of a research activity, contract research or further training. The cooperation takes place within the framework of a joint project using university resources.

Consulting: Direct services are also provided by the members of the IBT. Please contact the respective contact persons directly. We will be happy to help you identify the right contact person for your question.

Energy Consulting

We offer the following energy consulting services for companies and municipalities:

Analysis and modelling of energy consumption and energy production
Creation of energy concepts for the optimization of energy and resource consumption
Development of climate protection concepts and energy use plans
Support for the introduction of energy management systems (EnMS) according to ISO 50001
Support for the introduction of quality management systems (QMS) according to ISO 9001 and environmental management systems according to ISO 14001 or Eco Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS)

Renewable/Highly Efficient Energy Systems

We are happy to support you in the planning, use and operation of renewable or highly efficient energy systems (photovoltaics, combined heat and power plants, etc.) with the following services:

Planning, design and support in the implementation of projects for photovoltaic systems and combined heat and power plants
Yield simulation, forecasting and analysis of PV systems
Analysis and evaluation of remote monitoring data
Technical evaluation (due diligence) of PV projects
Optimisation of PV systems during the operating phase
Technical consultancy
Support in applying for subsidies (KfW, BAFA etc.)
